Video interpretation of Neil Finn’s song ‘Turn and Run’ which opened APRA Silver Scroll Music Awards, Auckland
Synopsis : Turn and Run is a video interpretation of Neil Finn’s song of the same title. I used misinterpretation and free association to build images of war games played by my children and their friends, and visuals from friends and neighbours who work in war zones, for example, Palestine.
Turn and Run opened the APRA Silver Scroll 2002 Awards ceremony. It was commissioned as an audio visual work of the song that won the award the previous year.
